John Campopiano
Archives & Rights Manager
John Campopiano has been the Archives and Rights Manager for FRONTLINE since 2014. He received his bachelor’s degree in Ethnomusicology from Wheaton College, and his master’s in Digital Archives Management from Simmons College. As a graduate student, his research focused on the intersection between nostalgia and digital technologies, with his work culminating in the article, “Memory, Temporality, and Manifestations of Our Tech-nostalgia,” which in appeared in the De Gruyter journal Preservation, Digital Technology, and Culture.
Prior to his work at FRONTLINE, John served as the Archivist for jazz musician Ran Blake and the Jewish Women’s Archive; and Project Archivist for Northeastern University’s Our Marathon: The Boston Bombing Digital Archive, and at the Harvard Film Archive.
